In 2006, the Camp For A Cure family lost two remarkable women, Laura Leslie and Gail Adams, in their fight against cancer. Laura is the wife of Camp Director Dan Leslie. Gail is the mother of Camp Director Gregg Adams. Perhaps now, more than ever, we are committed to this cause, in hopes that one day there will be an end to this terrible disease. As Gail said to Gregg, “keep doing what you’re doing, so one day no other families will have to go through this.” That
is exactly what we intend to do.
What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited
It cannot cripple love,
It cannot shatter hope,
It cannot corrode faith,
It cannot destroy peace,
It cannot kill friendship,
It cannot suppress memories,
It cannot silence courage,
It cannot invade the soul,
It cannot steal eternal life,
It cannot conquer the Spirit! |
